AGI Layer FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Installation
How do I install AGI Layer?
Setup only takes a few minutes to put ChatGPT to work for you while you focus on your priorities.
Follow the instructions on the Setup page to install the extension. You can install the extension on Microsoft Edge as well.
What's the next step after installation?
Get TextBlaze to manage your prompt library and AGI Layer workflows.
Model Transitions
What are model transitions?
Model transitions are a powerful and unique innovation of AGI Layer, enabling you to create workflows that span across multiple ChatGPT models.
You can insert the model transitions provided within any workflow.
How do I carry context from one model to another?
You can bring context from the previous request with our special command !paste.
This will enable you to copy the previous command using ctrl+shift+c and then you can use !paste anywhere inside your workflow after a model transition.
How do I setup model transitions to Custom GPTs?
CustomGPT transitions 1 through 6 are provided. You will need to remove and re-add your GPTs on ChatGPT if you do not see them on the list or if you want to re-order them.
You’ll see the transitions are fairly straightforward: you add two additional tab key presses to reach the next item.
Customizing Workflows
How do I create my own workflows?
It is recommended to start with one of the existing workflows that is most similar to your desired result. Duplicate it and then customize it.
You’ll learn how to structure your workflow better with an example.
Your workflow can contain as many steps as needed that will run back-to-back fully automated!
Workflow step consists of three parts:
- A prompt request
- A timing delay element
- An enter command
The structure is quite simple and you will get a knack fairly quickly for adjusting the timing delay for various requests.
Once your workflow is built it can be customized and run anytime with a simple customizable keyboard command.
